A partnership since 2013 - and an online shop that turns every purchase into funding for one of the world's largest youth movements.

Most online shops exist to make a profit. Scoutshop.se exists to fund a mission. Every uniform, every tent, every compass sold helps give young people across Sweden the right to a meaningful, adventurous childhood. The Scouts reach 220 of the country's 290 municipalities. The shop helps pay for it.
That changes what the platform is for. This was never about selling more for its own sake. It was about funding a movement - and doing it well, year after year.
Lybe has worked with Scoutshop since 2013. More than a decade. That length is the point of this story.
We did not arrive, launch a site, and leave. We started by improving the customer experience and the day-to-day efficiency of the shop. Then we stayed - as a partner in operations and in the strategic decisions that shape where Scoutshop goes next. When you run on a shoestring and every krona funds something that matters, you do not need a vendor. You need someone who guides.
Scoutshop serves two customers who behave nothing alike. A parent buying a single uniform. A whole scouting corps ordering in bulk for the season. Same shop, very different needs - different checkout, different order flows, different expectations.
The job was to make both feel effortless. A smooth, modern, mobile-first buying journey for the individual. Practical, association-friendly ordering for the corps. And behind the counter, a simpler system so a small team could run the whole thing without drowning in admin.
We built Scoutshop.se on Magento 2 so it could carry all of that on one foundation, and shaped it around the Scouts' specific needs rather than forcing them into a generic template.
One feature captures the whole spirit of the work. The Kickback system lets a customer choose which Scout Corps receives money back from their purchase. Buy your gear, and a piece of it flows straight to your local group.
It is commerce with a conscience built in — the shop doesn't just fund the movement in general, it lets buyers direct support to the scouts closest to them. Small idea. Big signal about what this shop is really for.
Guidance only counts if it moves the results. After the relaunch, compared to the same period the year before, the shop delivered on every front that matters.
Visitors rose 22%. Transactions rose 50%. Turnover from mobile traffic climbed 61%. Mobile conversion improved 23%.
Read those together and the story is simple: more people came, far more of them bought, and mobile - where the next generation actually shops - went from an afterthought to an engine. For an organisation funded partly by its own commerce, every one of those points is money returned to the mission.
The work did not stop at launch, because good partnerships don't. In the years since, we have kept improving the shop in step with how the business changes - most recently making content far easier for the team to manage on their own, so they spend less time wrestling the site and more time serving members.
That is what a long-term partner does. Not one grand project, but a steady hand over years - adapting, improving, and protecting the results as the world around the shop keeps moving.
Twelve years in, Scoutshop.se is stronger, faster, and more capable than ever - and still evolving. The platform funds the mission. The partnership keeps it sharp.
The best commerce partnerships aren't measured by a launch date. They're measured by how well things work years later, and by whether someone stayed to make sure they did. With the Scouts, we did - and we still do.
If you're looking for a partner who guides for the long term, not just for launch, that is a conversation worth having.
